Getting Over the Hump

Fall is an insanely busy time of the year for me.  My eldest started JK, we are living out of a temporary home, and building my business while working for my husbands business.  There are many days that I feel completely overwhelmed and completely stuck.


Well today is one of those days and I was stuck all morning when I planned on today being a productive day getting business plans in place for the new year!


So why am I telling you this?

I have to reset and wanted to share this with you, as I know this might be of value to you too.


The ups and downs of life are inevitable – it is all about the ebs and flow.  The opportunity to flow is an absolute choice or at least I have decide this to be so. So i choose to flow and now be a victim to the daunting task that often lay before me.


I sometimes feel really stuck, overwhelmed and unproductive way more than I think I should. Should should should. I’ve gotta stop “shoulding” on myself. You see I believe, like truth, that I’m in complete control and my thoughts, my outcomes and therefore my life. I assume complete responsibility of all that happens to me. Don’t get me wrong- life happens to you often- but I want to feel empowered to have a say and in wanting this I have to take on being responsible for all of life’s happening.


This occurs to me almost like a pep talk- my own motivational TedTalk in my head to myself. “This is exactly where you’re supposed to be and you created this”.  “I created this”. When you have a choice and an opportunity to be the creator of your life- you can create whatever you’d like.


We can all choose to be empowered or stuck. The choice lies with us.
