Today on the top rated fitness podcast, The Body Project Podcast, I am share three simple steps to reset your mindset and look at your limiting beliefs and fitness self-sabotage.
Resetting your Mindset is an important aspect of shifting how we are in the world and what we see is possible for ourselves.
I touch on the work by Dr. Bruce Lipton’s Biology of Belief, and how there is a greater understanding of how powerful thoughts, mindset and beliefs are in altering our physiology and creating the reality of our life.
Here are three things you need to know about your Fitness Mindset and how to start shifting your Limiting beliefs:
1) Becoming Aware: awareness is important in noticing the patterns and beliefs that limit our fitness success. Ask yourself:
Do you see a pattern in your life that doest allow you to reach your fitness goal?
What are typical excuses you’ve had for a long time?
2) Practice Self-Care & Compassion: being gentle with yourself is important in becoming present and shifting our beliefs.
3) Create a New Story: I believe that when looking to shift your fitness and really find a sustainable way is about create a new and empowering belief that you want to REPLACE AND SHIFT your thought patterns to another, more inspiring option instead of leaving it void.
