120// How To Feel Good During COVID: Resetting After 2 Years of The Podcast

Today on the best fitness podcast, The Body Project Podcast, I am looking forward to what’s ahead for the podcast and How To Feel Good During COVID as we are trying to navigate a new normal.

So much has shifted in the last few years! I have grown as a brand and as a business offering transformative programs that are truly shifting the way people feel about themselves, showing people how to lose fat fast in a real, sustainable way (no gimmicks) and how to be mindful and improve their positive outlook and mindset.

The opportunity is endless when you invest in yourself and looking at our most recent PROJECT YOU program, the participants were able to dig deep and alter the trajectory of where they were going during this uncertain time.

Our health is our wealth, and that is more evident now than every before! And as such I think that we need to take responsibility for ourselves, and our health is a way that quantum shifts from what we were doing before.  Meaning that in order to feel good during COVID, and as we move our of a global pandemic, we need to invest in our health, in our longterm wellbeing and all the pillars that make up a healthy ecosystem.

A healthy ecosystem, in my eyes, exists within the sphere of our community but starts with ourselves and our families.  I believe that how you do anything is how you do everything, and if you are constantly struggling with your negative self-talk, if you struggle with self-confidence on who you are, this often seeps into how you honour your body through food and movement.  And poor mindset doesn’t always mean poor eating- it shows up as addiction or obsession, that from the outside, appears as healthy- but this side is as scarcity based, ground as much in fear of failure or in a place of needing and desperately trying to be good enough…

This is a whole other conversation.

This time since the announcement of the Global Pandemic, has been an unbelievable global pause where people have stopped, people are overwhelmed and hopefully this is a reset, a global detox and an elevation, an evolution of humanity- global conscious levitation.

My intention with the podcast at the time was to support the conversation of exactly where many of you were. In a place of overwhelm, uncertainty and perhaps even fear.  The conversation shifted from only a fitness and optimization focus into a holistic approach to immune health and wellbeing during uncertainty.

I know that it has served SO many of you!

And it also helped me move through things like 100 episodes, my 40th birthday and celebrating 2 year of this podcast.  I could not have done my business without you.

I have new ventures that I’m taking on that is enhancing my focus and elevating my business alignment with my mission of global impact.  With this year, what has become important in optimizing is increasing access, being inclusive and being diverse in the conversation and the offering.

Yes, these are uncomfortable conversations.  But fundamentally, fitness and movement professionals are trained in coaching their clients through times of discomfort.  We actually request that our clients lean into the discomfort of movement, the discomfort of change.

And in this training and this knowing- I am putting my hand, pulling up and saying I am an Ally, I am here to get comfortable with uncomfortable conversations. I am here to be anti-racist and to promote inclusion, look at increasing accessibility to those in lower socioeconomic areas, how can we give access and diversity to those who typically don’t have the financial means.

In September we will be diving deeper into this conversation in the Fitness Community in hopefully a transformative way.
