MY

STORY

Hi, I’m Peyton.
I’m 13 years old, and like most kids my age, I’m just trying to figure out who I am and maybe be heard a little along the way.

I love adventure!  I love water skiing in the summer, snow skiing in the winter, and counting down the days until I’m back at camp. Camp is my happy place. It’s where I feel most free, most myself.

School is a big part of my life too and I’ve got my mom to thank for that. She’s always pushed me to do my best, and even when I act like I’m not listening, I probably am. Most of the time.

Becoming a Bar Mitzvah is a big deal. It’s not just a ceremony, but it’s a moment that marks a new chapter. A chapter where I start stepping into who I’m becoming.
Thank you for being part of this milestone with me.

About PEYTOn

I’m big on adventure, especially if it involves speed or sound.

Ski racing has become a huge part of my life. I love the rush, the challenge, and the feeling of flying down the mountain. In the summer, you’ll find me on the water.  I’ve even won awards for water skiing at camp (which, if you can’t tell, is pretty much my favourite place on Earth).

I got a new ski this year that Dad's letting me bring to camp.   I'm excited.

Music is another big part of who I’m becoming. I’ve been playing piano for years and recently picked up the saxophone and base.  Music has become one of my favourite ways to express myself.

And when I’m not skiing or making music, I’m all about the game. Raptors, Leafs, or Jays.  I love watching with my dad or my Papa.   It’s one of the best ways we spend time together.

MY  BAR  MITZVAH  PROJECT

SUPPORTING THE ONE FAMILY FUND

For my Bar Mitzvah project, I chose to support the OneFamily Fund because it means a lot to me and my family.
This organization helps victims of terror in Israel, especially kids who have been through really hard things like losing their loved ones to terrorism. I was inspired to donate after learning about the organization through Timberlane. In addition to this, my grandfather’s childhood best friend, Bernie Little,  played a big role in making sure children impacted by terror could experience the magic of summer camp.  This was my Papa and Bernie's favourite place, and mine too. I hope my contribution helps other kids find healing, joy, and a sense of belonging, just like I feel when I’m at camp.

Please consider in joining me to support the One Family Fund.

I BELIEVE THAT

STRENGTH  IS  NOT  THE ABSENCE  OF  FEAR,  BUT
RATHER THE  ABILITY  TO
BE COURAGEOUS  AND
TO TRUST IN GOD

THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF MY SPECIAL DAY
